VLANKA CATALAN

Founder / Principal

Vlanka is the principal and founder of VERB/. She has worked as a Project Architect and Project Manager in both Seattle and Los Angeles. Her projects range in scale from architectural installations and custom residential, to large commercial and institutional projects around the United States and internationally.

She also teaches architecture at the University of Southern California and taught at the University of Washington.

Vlanka is a veteran and served in the United States Army.

SARAH CHAN

Creative Director

Sarah is the Creative Director of VERB/. Trained as an architect and graphic designer, Sarah draws on both disciplines in her work. She leads the VERB/ team in crafting graphic narratives for projects. She focuses on representation and media in architecture and how narratives evolve when translated through different mediums.

She has previously taught Advanced Representation graduate courses at the University of Washington.
